Ganesh Chaturthi Begins Today: Bring Lord Ganpati Home In Style During Vijay Muhurat

As per Hindu calendar’s Bhadrapada month's fortnight is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the God of wisdom. This date is also famous as Vinayak Chaturthi. In folk traditions, the birth of Lord Ganesha is celebrated for ten days.

Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has sparked another controversy with his atheist tweet on the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
RGV tweeted,  “The guy who couldn't save his own head from being cut , how he will save others heads is my question? But Happy Ganpathi day to morons!”
